Bad breath is often the result of bacteria in the mouth, but is quite simple to improve. Good oral hygiene, including twice daily teeth brushing and regular dentist appointments, will help reduce the plaque bacteria that cause bad breath.
- Use a good mouthwash to protect against bacteria and swill the mouth with water after eating.
- Avoid foods such as onions and garlic which cause bad breath from the lungs rather than the mouth.
- Do not forget to brush your tongue as well as your teeth to keep it clean from bacteria.
